Sears schedules warranty repairs 3 weeks out while we have to live without a working washing machine - Extended warranty service


We bought a 3 year extended warranty for our appliances from Sears. So far, they have scheduled repairs for our Kenmore washer 3 weeks out, leaving us without a working washing machine for 3 weeks. I wish I had read more of the fine print, becasue they apparently give schedule priority to paid service calls over the free warranty repairs. Don't buy the Sears extended warranty unless you like going to laundramats.

I have been waiting for Sears repair service over a week now and after spending all that money for a extended warranty I am totally disgusted. If I had any idea there would be such a delay in service I never would have purchased it. I will check back in with the result of our service call if it ever happens.

I hear you. I have been waiting a week and have never heard a work from any body. Called yesterday and was to hear yesterday. Called again today and am to hear today. They sure like calling for you to take the extended warranty but after that its a joke. I have just loaded up all my laundry and heading to a laundry mat. I have bought three complete kitchens appliances from Sears and let me tell you it will be the last. I have spent thousands of dollars and I can't even get a phone call............ Debbie
